Dropped race scores sure rattle the standings, huh? Oh well. Lookin like about one more week and someone, not sayin who, should be knocking the Blossum lady out of 4th Place. LOL.

Looks like most of us took a major dump this week...
NOT a good way to start off segment #3

I find myself extremely fortunate to somehow be within 150 or so of the leader.

I know it's no cakewalk to make even half of that up by season's end but based on how BAD things can go at times I'd like to believe I will end up on the good side of one of these "crazy" races one of these weeks.

Yeah,.. I was just two points behind,.. but the last two races sure have set me back a lot.
Those Toyota motors,.. never know when to trust them.

Yep yep yep. Damned Toy Motors. Completely irrelative i know , but funny thing is, down here in NZ and Oz anyway, their rep for reliability is as good as it gets for ordinary vehicles. Anyway, I reckon Joe is rolling thedice and it is a recurring theme. As fox told us, JGR might have led twice as many laps as HMS this season, and 10 times as many as Ford , but they are pushin' it like a constipated roadrunner (beep beep). Mr.Gibbs figures one of his teams will stay ahead of the odds.

Well, as far as Gibbs, here's what I see.
Hamlin is out... to many points to make up, and to many guys in front of him. I can't see him winning twice in the next 13 races.
Stewart winning this week hurt Hamlin too.
With the three road course races coming up I am betting Ambrose, Montoya, or Gordon could win those. SO that's two more guys that's ahead of Hamlin in the points with a win.
Kenseth has 3 wins, and Busch has two... so both of them are in the chase no matter what.
I guess Joe just has to hope they get it figured out before the Chase starts.

Meanwhile HMS has three cars in the Chase, with Gordon only 10 points out.
