PHOENIX is Race 6 in our last session of 2013 - containing 7 races.

WELBORN is on THE POLE (AGAIN)

Qualifying starts at 12:30 PM SATURDAY Eastern Time. GREEN FLAG says 4:16 PM Eastern SATURDAY

WELDON, please have your team posted by 2:30 PM Eastern Time.
That's well after Qualifying is completed and still about 1 3/4 hours before the green flag.

DO NOT CHANGE YOUR POLE TEAM (WELDON) ONCE POSTED EXCEPT IN THE CASE A SELECTED DRIVER HAS BEEN PULLED FROM THE LINE-UP OR A SIMILAR CRAZY HAPPENING.

THE POLE TEAM WILL BE POSTED BY 2:30 PM EST!

NOTE NEW RULE!
If you don't enter a team by the green flag to compete against THE POLE for whatever reason you'll get your $10 ante back - just like if you tied THE POLE. We'll assume you've simple chosen to 'sit this hand out'.

It is played in the traditional Pick 5 Drop 1 Format.

Here's the current Financial Report as it stands after last weeks race at Texas - for your viewing pleasure.

I've updated a few notes in the far right column. If there is any confusion in reading the chart consider this as an example. Using CF1, the first team listed.
CF1 paid his antees up front for all 7 races of the session. His ANTE COLUMN shows $70. He's won $12 + $18 +$80 +$0 +$0 in the 5 races we've completed. His total 'PAYOUT DUE' is therefore $110; and that is what I would send CF today if he requested it, or that's what he'll get at the end of the session - unless he wins more money in which case the $110 will increase. It can't go down.

Sorry: I was debating Busch verses Harvick. Almost everyone took Busch, but in the end - I was afraid R & D might rear its head with the 33. So I clicked final answer just before Green.

being the pole 2 weeks in a row has been bad luck, by my math it looks like F&B will be the last pole congrats!

RESULTS

We had 10 players for a $100 pot.
We had 7 players outscore Weldon's POLE TEAM score of 17 points.

Three teams tied for the high score of the day. CF, F&B, and CJ all scored 11 points. The By-Laws state in the event of a tie for high score the first team entered wins the pole for next week.

F&B was the first to enter so he wins the right to The Pole Position next week.

Blaine, you also have the right to decline passing the opportunity to CJ, and then passed to CF if CJ should also decline. If both decline you get The Pole whether you want it or not.

Congratulations, F&B! And congrats to the other money winners today as well.

Blaine let us know if you'll sit on The Pole next week if you would.
