Different Fantasy Games

I would think NASCAR.com fantasy game would cater to recruiting new faces via a simple game designed to be more fun for everyone.
Hard to imagine, any player having interest in making picks based on current categories. Mind boggling. In short, The main game at Nascar.com should try to get the masses into playing fantasy nascar. More fun is the goal. Using car mfg. and the pit crew stuff offers zilch to normal picking process. Yikes.

 
Scoring Categories

1. NASCAR Fantasy Live is the first game of its kind to score your team of Sprint Cup drivers based on several statistical categories instead of just how your drivers finish each Race.
   Drivers are scored across five (5) statistical categories:
   
   
   
   • Laps Led: Total number of laps led divided by 2. Example: If Carl Edwards lead 70 laps, he would earn 35 points. NASCAR Timing & Scoring will be the official source of this statistical category.
     
   • Fastest Laps: Total number of fastest laps divided by 2. Example: If Denny Hamlin recorded 50 fastest laps, he would earn 25 points. NASCAR Timing & Scoring will be the official source of this statistical category.
     
   • Quality Passes: Total number of quality passes in Race divided by 2. Quality passes are determined to be any pass for position that occurs while that driver is in the top 15 places at any time during the Race. NASCAR Timing & Scoring will be the official source of this statistical category.
     
   • Place Differential: Starting position (based on official qualifying order) minus finish position, +/- 1 point for each driver’s place differential. Example: If Jimmie Johnson started 7th but finished 1st, his place differential would be +6, and he would earn 6 points. If Jeff Gordon started 6th and finished 10th, his place differential would be -4, earning him -4 points.
     
   • Finishing Position: 1st place gets 47 points, 2nd place gets 42, 3rd place gets 41, 4th place gets 40 points and so on in decrements of one point per position, with 43rd place earning 1 point. The Game will be scored based on the final Race results tabulated by NASCAR Timing and Scoring
     
   • If a Driver on a participant’s Team Roster does not start a Race, that Driver will be awarded zero (0) points for that Race.
     
   • Bonus Points:
     
     
     
     1. Car Manufacturer: 10-point bonus for picking the winning car manufacturer for that week.
        
     2. Pit Crew: 10-point bonus for picking a Top-5 pit crew (based on positions gained/lost on pit road) for that week. Pit road positions are gained/lost by drivers on a lead lap who pit under caution during the Race. Pit road points accumulate based on how many positions the lead-lap drivers gain or lose during a yellow flag pit stop. Pit road points are calculated by adding up all positions gained or lost during pit stops under yellow for lead-lap drivers during the Race. Points are earned or lost at a 1:1 ratio. For example, Driver A gained 5 positions on pit stop 1 but lost 2 positions on pit stop 2, his pit road +/- score would be +3.....holy crap!
        

3m game..about 600 players..pick top 5each race. was 104th..not close. Always someone right on.

In 2013 2 top finishers had the same lineup since race 1.  In most games of near zero trades, there are so many players, you better nail it, someone will.  

Then in no trade games, there was no joy in mudville if you had stewart or Hamlin. the fun was gone.

zero trades. can use a driver twice. all done preseason. I thought I had a good shot..was horrid.

This game makes players study who is good at what tracks in advance.

This one,no trades,1 driver per race,can use a driver only twice. A real brain teaser.
